Hi @RuthAnn5470,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you want to change the WiFi network name (SSID) and password on your HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:
Option 1: Use HP Smart App HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
Download the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device if you don't already have it installed. You can find it on the HP website or in app stores.
Open the HP Smart app and make sure your printer is already added.
Go to Printer Settings:
- On the home screen, select your printer.
- Click on Printer Settings.
Reset Network Settings:
- Scroll down and look for Advanced Settings or Network Settings.
- Choose Restore Network Settings to reset the WiFi.
Reconnect the Printer to the New WiFi:
- In the HP Smart app, go to Set Up a New Printer or choose to reconnect to a network.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the new WiFi network with the updated name and password.
Option 2: WPS Button (if your router supports it) Connect an HP printer using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
How to Find the WPS PIN to Complete Printer Setup | HP Printers | HP Support
Press the Wireless Button: On your DeskJet 3755, press the Wireless button on the control panel until it starts blinking (about 3 seconds). This will put the printer in WPS mode.
Press the WPS Button on the Router: Within 2 minutes of pressing the Wireless button, press the WPS button on your router. The printer should connect to the new network.
Option 3: Using Embedded Web Server (EWS) Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Find Printer IP Address:
- On the printer, press the Information button (looks like an "i") to print a network configuration page.
- Find the IP address on this page.
Access the Embedded Web Server:
- Open a web browser on your computer and type the IP address of the printer into the address bar. Press Enter.
- This will open the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for your printer.
Go to Network Settings:
- In the EWS, navigate to Network or Wireless settings.
- Choose Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the instructions to connect to your new WiFi network.
Enter the New WiFi Details: Provide the new WiFi name (SSID) and password to complete the setup.
