Laserjet 400 M401dne

Can Laserjet 400 M401dne be run wirelessly??  If so how do I do it  The printer says its offline but it is plugged in and ready

Hi LAD2296,

This printer model does not have Wi-Fi, however it does have Ethernet. So if you connect it to your wireless router with an Ethernet cable, you can then send print jobs from other devices connected to that same router via Wi-Fi.

 

You may want to use the HP Smart app to help finish setting up the printer after connecting the Ethernet cable.

If you need .wifi due to location not being wired friendly you can purchase a wireless extender that has an ethernet port on it. You connect the extender to your existing wireless and attach your printer to the extender using a standard network Cat5 cable
