To connect your HP Envy 5055 printer to your PC wirelessly, follow these steps:
Ensure Printer is Powered On:
- Make sure your printer is powered on and nearby. The printer should be in a ready state.
Connect to Wi-Fi Network:
- On the printer, tap the Wi-Fi icon to access the wireless settings menu.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard. This will search for available wireless networks.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Install Printer Software:
- Insert the Printer Software CD that came with your HP Envy 5055 printer into your PC's CD drive, or download the software from the HP website.
- Run the setup program. This can usually be found in "My Computer" or "This PC" once the CD is inserted.
Select Wireless Connection:
- During the software installation, you will be prompted to choose a connection type. Select Wireless as the connection option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the wireless installation.
Add the Printer on Your Computer:
- Open Control Panel on your PC.
- Navigate to Devices and Printers.
- Click Add a printer.
- Select the HP Envy 5055 from the list of available printers.
- Follow the prompts to complete the printer installation.
Check Connectivity:
- You can print a test page to ensure the printer is correctly connected to your wireless network and functioning properly with your PC.
