I am unable to print from my desk top since the WIFI button on the printer is blinking. while I am trying to setup new printer on my desk top my original WIFI network is cut off and becomes HP-Setup<7_Smart Tank 510 , so I am unable to add new printer and hence unable to print from my desk top.

I understand you are to resolve this issue and disable Wi-Fi Direct on your HP Smart Tank 510 Wireless All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:
Step 1: Disable Wi-Fi Direct on the Printer
Access Printer Control Panel:
- Locate the Wi-Fi Direct button or icon on your printer’s control panel.
- On some models, the Wi-Fi Direct light/button might be next to the Wi-Fi button.
Turn Off Wi-Fi Direct:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi Direct button until the light turns off. This action disables the Wi-Fi Direct feature.
Step 2: Reconnect Printer to Your Wi-Fi Network Troubleshoot a Wi-Fi connection to an HP printer
- Restore Default Wireless Settings:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until it starts blinking. This resets the printer’s wireless settings.
- Reconnect the Printer to Your Network:
- Use the HP Smart app on your desktop or mobile device to reconnect the printer to your home Wi-Fi network:
- Open the app, select Add Printer, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi.
- Ensure your computer and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Use the HP Smart app on your desktop or mobile device to reconnect the printer to your home Wi-Fi network:
Step 3: Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
If you cannot turn off Wi-Fi Direct via the printer control panel, try the following:
Find Printer's IP Address:
- Print a Network Configuration Page:
- Press and hold the Information button until the printer prints a page.
- Look for the IP address on the page under the Wireless section.
Access the EWS:
- Open a web browser on your computer and type the printer’s IP address into the address bar.
- Press Enter to open the EWS.
Disable Wi-Fi Direct: HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network)
- Navigate to the Wireless or Network section.
- Look for Wi-Fi Direct Settings and disable the feature.
- Save the changes and exit.
Step 4: Set Printer as Default
Once the printer is back on your home Wi-Fi:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Locate your HP Smart Tank 510 in the list, right-click it, and select Set as Default Printer.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi button is steady (not blinking), indicating the printer is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
- If problems persist, restart your router, computer, and printer.
