I have my laser jet 1505n printer, and it is stuck in a manual ip configuration which is a very weird setting ip [edit] 255.255.0.0. THis was assigned when I did a factory reset. I cannot access it, and want it to work on my home network. It works fine using the usb port, but is very inconvenient. Thanks in advance

Hi @Jeffj171,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you need information on performing a factory reset on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
