@AHYEONG, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To factory reset your HP Laser MFP 136w printer and restore its default settings (which can help resolve Wi-Fi or connectivity issues), follow these steps:

Factory Reset Instructions for HP Laser MFP 136w

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the "Cancel" button and the "Wireless" button at the same time.
  3. While holding both buttons, turn the printer back on.
  4. Keep holding the buttons for about 10 seconds until the LEDs on the control panel start blinking.
  5. Release the buttons.
  6. Wait for the printer to complete the reset process. It may restart automatically.

This will reset the printer to its factory default settings, including removing saved Wi-Fi networks.

After Reset: Reconnect to Wi-Fi

Once the reset is complete, you’ll need to:

  • Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app or WPS method.
  • Reinstall the printer on your computer or mobile device if needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
