@AHYEONG, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To factory reset your HP Laser MFP 136w printer and restore its default settings (which can help resolve Wi-Fi or connectivity issues), follow these steps:
Factory Reset Instructions for HP Laser MFP 136w
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the "Cancel" button and the "Wireless" button at the same time.
- While holding both buttons, turn the printer back on.
- Keep holding the buttons for about 10 seconds until the LEDs on the control panel start blinking.
- Release the buttons.
- Wait for the printer to complete the reset process. It may restart automatically.
This will reset the printer to its factory default settings, including removing saved Wi-Fi networks.
After Reset: Reconnect to Wi-Fi
Once the reset is complete, you’ll need to:
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app or WPS method.
- Reinstall the printer on your computer or mobile device if needed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
