Hi @mhooker32

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The issue you're experiencing with your HP 7855 printer randomly printing connectivity pages is likely related to its network configuration or communication with HP's servers.

Here are some steps to address this problem:

1. Disable Web Services:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Setup > Web Services Settings.
  • Turn off Web Services to stop the printer from attempting to communicate with HP's servers.

2. Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model.
  • Install the firmware update to ensure the printer is running the most recent software.

3. Assign a Static IP Address:

  • Access your printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) by typing its IP address into a web browser.
  • Go to the Network or Wireless Settings tab and assign a static IP address to the printer. This can help stabilize its network connection.

4. Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer, go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
  • Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi or Ethernet network using the Wireless Setup Wizard.

5. Check for Proxy Settings:

  • If your network uses a proxy, ensure the settings are correctly configured in the printer's EWS.
  • If no proxy is required, disable proxy settings in the printer's network configuration.
