Hello,
I have hp laserjet pro mfp 4103 printer, I connect the printer to the network with ethernet cable, I set up my computer with the ip address that the printer receives. But the printer goes offline after a while, I cannot print and I cannot log in to the web server. If I disconnect and connect the ethernet cable of the printer, I can connect again.

Hi @kerem_123,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there might be a network connectivity issue with your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4103 printer. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Check Ethernet Cable: Ensure that the Ethernet cable connecting the printer to the network is securely plugged in at both ends and is not damaged. Try using a different Ethernet cable to rule out any issues with the cable itself.
- Static IP Address: Make sure the IP address you've assigned to the printer is not conflicting with another device on the network. Assign a static IP address outside the DHCP range of your router to the printer.
- Network Configuration: Verify that the network settings on the printer are correctly configured. You can usually access these settings through the printer's control panel or its web interface.
- Firmware Update: Ensure that the printer's firmware is up-to-date. Visit the HP website and download/install any available firmware updates for your printer model.
- Network Infrastructure: Check your network infrastructure (router, switches, etc.) for any issues that might be causing intermittent connectivity problems. Ensure that the network switch/port to which the printer is connected is functioning properly.
- Firewall/Antivirus: Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer to see if they might be blocking communication with the printer.
- Power Cycling: Try power cycling both your printer and your network equipment (router, switches, etc.). Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
- Reset Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. Be aware that this will erase any custom settings you've configured on the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
