I cannot get into my printer.  I followed online instructions does not work

The steps below are Wi-Fi only and do not perform a factory reset.
Microsoft's Copilot (or ChatGPT or Google AI) may provide alternate solutions.

  1. Touch the Setup or Menu icon
  2. Touch Tools or Printer Maintenance
  3. Touch Restore Factory Defaults
  4. Touch Yes or Continue
  5. A message will appear confirming that the printer's defaults have been restored

 

If the system does not turn on then obviously it cannot be fixed with any type of reset, but you can try.
