I added a new print 8015e today.   for the eprint service, hp assigned something like [Personal Information Removed].   how to i change this to some reasonable name.   my old printer allowed me to change this, in fact when i clicked on my older printer in HPsmart it popped up without prompt asking me if i wanted to change it.   for this new printer i can't find anyplace to change it.   i've spent over an hour searching help, etc.   the help i find including HP videos are OUT OF DATE.   How do i change it and also why the heck does HP make it so **bleep** hard to figure out how to do basic stuff like this?

This newer "e" printer does not support the ePrint protocols.

The printer is eligible for HP+ service.

If you accept and enable HP+ , then you can then make use of Print Anywhere.

Print Anywhere does contain some of the same elements as the old ePrint technology.

One of the elements NOT part of Print Anywhere is the ability to change the printer's email address.

Hopefully you have not inadvertently just told everyone your printer's email address.

Key Notes

Print Anywhere is the replacement for the old ePrint tech.

Print Anywhere requires that your printer is added to the HP+ service contract.

In addition, Print Anywhere works -- is accessible -- through the HP Smart application.
