Hi @Wfawzi

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how frustrating it is when Web Services are enabled but the printer does not display or print the HP ePrint information page. You’ve already taken the right steps by following the setup guide, so let’s go through a structured approach to help uncover the missing HP email address:

Steps to Retrieve HP ePrint Email on Smart Tank 795

Confirm Web Services Status

  • On the printer control panel, tap SetupWeb Services Setup.
  • Ensure Web Services shows as Enabled. If disabled, turn it on.

Print the Web Services Information Page

  • On the control panel, go to SetupWeb Services SetupPrint Info Page.
  • This page should list the printer’s HP ePrint email address.
  • If nothing prints, proceed to the next step.

Access Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  • Find the printer’s IP address by tapping the Wireless icon on the control panel.
  • On your Windows PC, open a browser and type the IP address (for example, http://192.168.1.25).
  • In the EWS, go to Web ServicesSetupPrint Info Page.
  • This often succeeds when the control panel option does not respond.

Check Internet Connectivity

  • Make sure the printer is connected to a stable network with internet access.
  • If using Ethernet or Wi-Fi, confirm the connection by printing a Network Configuration Page from the control panel.

Update Firmware

Re-enable Web Services

  • If the Info Page still does not print, disable Web Services, restart the printer, and then re-enable them.
  • After re-enabling, try printing the Info Page again.

Once the Info Page prints successfully, it will display the unique HP ePrint email address assigned to your Smart Tank 795. That address is what you’ll use to send documents directly to the printer via email.

Take care, and have an amazing day!

You are welcome @Wfawzi

Thank you for sharing these details. I understand how frustrating it can be when selecting “Print Info Page” results in no action, especially after you’ve already tried changing the default printer and confirmed the firmware is up to date. I appreciate the steps you’ve taken so far.

Let’s try a few troubleshooting steps to get the printer responding:

1. Check Printer Connection

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to your network or PC.
  • If using Wi-Fi, confirm the printer shows a strong signal on its control panel.
  • If using USB, try a different port and cable.

2. Restart Printer and PC

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Plug the printer back in and power it on.

3. Verify Printer Status in Windows

  • On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Make sure your HP printer is listed and set as default (not the PDF printer).
  • If it shows “Offline,” right-click and select Use Printer Online.

4. Use HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool (Windows)

Install or Open HP Smart

  • Download from the Microsoft Store.
  • Launch the app and sign in with your HP account if prompted.

 Access Diagnose & Fix

  • Select your printer from the home screen.
  • Click Printer Settings.
  • Scroll to Diagnose & Fix.
  • Click Start and let it run a full scan.

It will automatically detect and resolve common issues like scanning failures, connection drops, and driver conflicts.

5. Update HP App

If you’re printing from the HP App, ensure it’s the latest version. Sometimes missing or unresponsive options are fixed after updating.

6. Try Printing a Test Page from Windows

  • Go to Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and select Printer Properties.
  • Click Print Test Page to check if the printer responds.

If the printer still doesn’t print the info page, it could be a communication issue between the app and the printer. These steps usually resolve it.

Would you like me to also share steps for resetting the printer settings to default? Or should I focus on network troubleshooting for better connectivity?

Take care, and have an amazing day!
