Hi @vihan3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Since your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage Ultra 4929 was working fine for months and stopped connecting after a Wi-Fi repair, it’s likely a network configuration issue rather than a printer fault. Let’s fix it step-by-step:

 1. Restore Network Settings on the Printer

This will clear old Wi-Fi info:

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds.
  • The printer will reset its network settings and enter setup mode (Wi-Fi light should blink).

2. Reconnect Using HP Smart App

  1. Download or open the HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site.
  2. Click “Set up a new printer”.
  3. The app should detect your printer in setup mode.
  4. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  5. Complete the setup and print a test page.

3. Use WPS (If Your Router Supports It)

  1. Press the WPS button on your router.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the Wireless button on your printer.
  3. Wait for the Wi-Fi light to stop blinking. This means it’s connected.

4. Add Printer Manually (If Not Detected)

  1. Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer.
  2. Note the IP address.
  3. On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Add Printer.
  4. Choose “Add a printer using TCP/IP address” and enter the IP.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
