Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to connect the printer to a new network, I am glad to assist you.

Reset the printer's network settings

  • Touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then select Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.

Set up the printer using the Wireless Setup Wizard

The Wireless Setup Wizard provides an easy way to set up and manage a wireless connection to your printer from the printer control panel.

  • Set up the printer hardware. See the getting started guide or the setup poster that came with your printer.
  • On the printer control panel, touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network.
  • Touch Wireless, touch Wireless Setup Wizard, and then touch OK.
  • Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Keep me posted.

Thanks,  I did all that and it still will not connect. I am away from home until Thurs and will try anything else you might suggest. I also turned off the printer and computer for 30 sec and then rebooted everything. No success which is odd as all my other devices simply reconnected as I kept the ID and password the same. No issues except with the printer. Please help as I do need the printer. Thanks, Bill

Perform a semi-full reset on the printer and connect the printer again to WiFi using the wireless setup wizard

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.
