Hi,
Recently I moved my Win10S laptop from a Verizon wireless home network to a Spectrum wireless home network. The laptop connects to the Spectrum router but the HP M26nw cannot find the router. I have tried WPS on the router and printer but after 2 minutes and being 4 ft apart the printer cannot find the router. I have uninstalled the printer on my laptop and reinstalled it but it is always "offline". The HP Smart app on my laptop states all is fine. I can print with a USP cable between the laptop and printer. I need to be able to print from my fire7 like I could before I changed routers so I need wireless connectivity between the router and the M26nw.
I ran the wireless network test report and got a failure as the network name SSID found was false.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Your printer supports wireless operations of 2.4GHz only, from your description I would suspect your router only broadcast a 5GHz WiFi and therefore the printer wouldn't find it.
I suggest ensuring that your router is set to broadcast both a 2.4 and 5GHz wireless bands, with a unique SSID name set for each band, please consult your router service provider for any assistant changing your home network settings.

Also, be sure to review the printed wireless test report for its listed Network name (SSID), does it indicate your current network name or may any other value, as Not Set or as your old network name?

Hi,
Thanks for the response. The Spectrum router has the 2Ghz band and I have seen it in the list along with the 5Ghz. The Configuration Summary on the Laser Jet Pro MFP M26nw has the network name as my previous router. How do I erase the old router from the M26nw configuration to acquire the new router?
Thanks

Thanks for clarifying.
If there is a USB cable connected, please unplug it from the printer at this time.
Ensure the printer is ready with a solid power light, press any button if the printer sleeps and the power button blinks.
Now restore the wireless settings of an HP Laserjet printer, ensure your device (computer or mobile device) is wirelessly connected to your 2.4Ghz wireless and open HP Smart to reconfigure the wireless settings:

Just to restate the problem
I have an M26nw which was connected to my home network (fios) allowing printing from my Win10S ImagineBook.
I am now in FL on a Spectrum router. My ImagineBook connects fine but the M26nw is always OffLine.
I have tried everything. Erasing the previous network , pressing the WPS on the router, turning on the radio and direct settings on the printer. The printer never finds my Spectrum router no matter how many times it searches for it. The network report fails with Network Name SSID found = fail.
I have erased the previous network as best as I can tell using the directions provided but the M26nw still fails to find the network when it searches and I press WPS on the router. The laptop is connected to the router via the G2 as you directed but the printer still is unable to find the network and remains Offline as per the HP Smart app on my laptop.
