  • Ensure you select the proper paper size and print quality settings.
  • Verify that scaling settings are set appropriately (e.g., fit to page).

Update Printer Firmware:

Use PDF Format:

  • If possible, convert the document or image to a PDF format before printing. PDF files often retain formatting better than other formats.
  • Use the HP Smart app or another PDF viewer app on your mobile phone to print the PDF.

Printer Preferences via Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Obtain the printer’s IP address by printing a network configuration page from the printer’s control panel.
  • Open a web browser on your computer or mobile device and type in the printer’s IP address to open the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  • Check and adjust any printer settings related to paper size, scaling, and formatting.

Check Document and Image Resolution:

  • Ensure the document or image resolution matches the printer’s capabilities.
  • Higher resolution images may print better with proper font sizes.

  • Always preview the print before executing it to catch any formatting issues.
