@Khayman1963, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is not detecting any wireless networks, here are some steps to help resolve the issue:

Restart Printer and Router

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from power.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router.
  • After 30 seconds, plug the printer back in and power it on.

Check Wireless Settings on Printer

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
  • Make sure Wireless is turned ON.
  • Tap Wireless Setup Wizard to search for available networks.

Move Printer Closer to Router

  • Ensure the printer is within 5–10 feet of the router during setup.
  • Avoid placing it near metal objects, microwaves, or thick walls.

Reset Network Settings on Printer

  • Go to Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
  • After reset, run Wireless Setup Wizard again.

Update Printer Firmware

Use HP Smart App (Alternative Setup)

  • Download the HP Smart app on your phone or PC. HP Smart
  • Use it to connect your printer to Wi-Fi. It often succeeds when manual setup fails.

Check Router Settings

  • Ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network (some HP printers don’t support 5 GHz).
  • Disable MAC address filtering or isolation mode if enabled.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
