Hi @gk140,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your son.

Please don't worry about the warranty status right now. While your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer may be out of warranty, we'll do our best to help you get it working again, especially since you rely on it for scanning and faxing important medical documents.

To better understand the issue, could you let us know:

  • What exactly is the printer doing or not doing?
  • Are you seeing any error messages on the printer screen or in the HP app?
  • Is the issue with printing, scanning, faxing, connecting to Wi‑Fi, or all of these?
  • Does the printer power on normally?
  • What device are you using with the printer (Windows PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, etc.)?

The more details you can provide, the better we can guide you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

We're here to help, and we'll do our best to work through this with you. Please reply with the symptoms you're seeing, and we'll take it one step at a time.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
