We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet 4650 lost its Wi-Fi connection due to the power outages. Here are some steps to reconnect it:

 

Restart Devices

  1. Restart the printer – Turn it off, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  2. Restart your router – Unplug it for 30 seconds, then turn it back on and wait for it to fully boot up.
  3. Restart your Mac – This ensures a fresh connection.

Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi

  1. On the printer’s control panel, tap Wireless (Wi-Fi) icon.
  2. Go to Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  4. Wait for the printer to reconnect.

Add Printer on Mac

If your Mac doesn’t detect the printer:

  1. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Click Add Printer, then select your HP OfficeJet 4650 from the list.
  3. If prompted, install any missing drivers.

Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

  1. Download HP Smart from the Mac App Store.
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen steps to reconnect the printer.
