Can't get the printer to get on the wifi network.  White power light is on and the blue wireless light is flashing . Help!

I understand you're having trouble connecting your HP DeskJet 2755e to your Wi-Fi network. The solid white power light and blinking blue wireless light indicate that the printer is powered on but not yet connected to a wireless network.

Let’s walk through the steps to get your printer connected:

Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode

This puts the printer in a state where it can be discovered by the HP Smart app.

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel (X) button on the printer together for 5 seconds.
  2. Wait until the blue wireless light starts blinking rapidly – this means the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode.

If the light doesn’t blink rapidly, repeat the step or power cycle the printer and try again.

Use HP Smart App to Connect

  1. Download or open the HP Smart app on your smartphone, tablet, or PC.
  2. Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to join.
  3. Open the app and click “+” or “Add Printer”.
  4. Select your HP DeskJet 2755e from the list.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Confirm Connection

Once setup is complete:

  • The blue wireless light should turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
  • You can now print a Wireless Network Test Report by pressing the Information (i) button to confirm network status.
