Hi @redskin66,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Let’s troubleshoot your HP 2700 series printer. Since it's not working with either USB or wireless, we should start with the basics.

Check Physical Connections and Power

  • Power Supply: Ensure the printer is plugged in and powered on.
  • USB Connection: If using USB, try a different port or cable.

Restart Devices

  • Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
  • Computer: Restart your computer.

Reinstall Printer Drivers

Uninstall Existing Drivers:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your printer, click Remove device, and confirm.

Download and Install Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website and search for your HP 2700 series printer.
  • Download the latest drivers and install them.

Check Printer Settings

  • Network Configuration: If using wireless, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  • Printer Setup: Use the printer’s control panel to verify network settings.

Run Windows Troubleshooter

  • Printer Troubleshooter:
    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
    • Select Printer and run the troubleshooter.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Update Windows:
    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    • Check for updates and install any available updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
