@sparkplug13, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're seeing a prompt asking for a WPS PIN while trying to connect your HP LaserJet Pro M15w to Wi-Fi, here’s how you can proceed:
Option 1: Use the WPS PIN Method
- Power on your printer and make sure it's in a ready state.
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the wireless light starts blinking.
- On your computer, when prompted for the WPS PIN, check the printer’s control panel or the information sheet that prints automatically during setup. The PIN is usually valid for only 90 seconds.
- Enter the PIN on your computer to complete the connection.

Option 2: Use the WPS Push Button Method (Recommended if your router supports it)
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for about 5 seconds until the light starts blinking.
- Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router.
- Wait for the wireless light on the printer to stop blinking – this means the connection was successful.
Alternative: Use the HP Smart App
If WPS isn’t working or your router doesn’t support it, you can also connect using the HP Smart app:
- Download the app from 123.hp.com.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer and connect it to Wi-Fi.
