I have a HP Smart Tank Plus 570 series. I can get to the screen to enter my password on the printer, but numbers come in sets of 12, 34, 56, 78, 90. I get only the odd numbers when I press any of those number sets. How do I get the even numbers?

Hi @lck51,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

For the HP Smart Tank Plus 570 series printer, if you're experiencing issues where pressing a number key on the control panel gives you only odd numbers, it might be due to a setting or a specific input method configured on the device. Here is what you can try:

Long Press: Some printers require a long press on a key to toggle between the characters associated with each key. Try pressing and holding the key to see if it cycles through to the even numbers or other characters you need.

Nav Button: If long press doesn't help, check if there is a navigation arrow or selector button on the panel that you can use to move through the number options available for each key.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
