Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,  Thank you in advance for any assistance.  I own a 10+ year old 4540s probook and am searching for a good used printer.  I found an affordable used hp 6230 barely used.  My question is---are these models compatible?  Where can I go to get appropriate software?  Old man here, barely able to keep up with all the changes in technology......

It depends on the version of OS you are using on the computer. 

Are you using Win 10?

To know how to check the Win OS version, refer to this document. 

It would be good if you are using a Win 10 or Win 8.1 OS. In this case, this printer is compatible.
