I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP printer won’t connect to any device; it can feel like everything comes to a halt. Let’s troubleshoot this step by step using recommendations.

Recommended Steps

1. Check Printer Network Status

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Network Settings or Wireless Settings.
  • Print a Network Configuration Page to confirm the printer’s IP address and connection status.
     

2. Restart Everything

  • Power cycle the printer, router, and your device.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds before turning them back on.
     

3. Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

  • On the printer, select Wireless Setup Wizard (under Network settings).
  • Enter your Wi-Fi credentials again.
  • Ensure the printer is on the same network as your device.
     

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to HP’s official site:
    👉 Official HP® Support
  • Enter your printer model and download the latest firmware.

6. Advanced Check

  • If the printer shows offline or cannot be found: 
    • Disable VPN or firewall temporarily.
    • Assign a static IP to the printer via its Embedded Web Server (EWS).
