Hi @carmichael4720,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your Wi-Fi password contains an apostrophe (') and you can't find it on the HP Envy 4250 printer's keyboard, follow these steps.

Use the On-Screen Keyboard:

  • When you're prompted to enter the Wi-Fi password on the printer, use the on-screen keyboard.
  • Some HP printers have a symbol or alternate character button that may allow you to enter special characters like the apostrophe.
  • On the printer’s screen, look for a button that might show additional characters (like a "?123" or symbols button).
  • This will switch to a keyboard layout that includes symbols like apostrophes, quotes, and other punctuation marks.

Use the Control Panel's Wi-Fi Setup Wizard:

  • If you're setting up the printer on a network via the Control Panel, make sure to enter the password carefully by selecting the correct characters from the on-screen keyboard.
  • If the apostrophe still doesn't show, try entering the password without it (if it's an optional or unnecessary part of the password) or use a different method like WPS to bypass the manual entry process.

Use the HP Smart App:

  • Alternatively, you can use the HP Smart app on your phone or computer to set up the printer on the network. The app will guide you through the process of connecting to Wi-Fi, where entering special characters like the apostrophe is often easier.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
