Hi @sadgirl96,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand how frustrating this is, especially since your HP ENVY 5052 All-in-One Printer was working normally for a week and then suddenly stopped connecting to your devices. Since you have already restarted the printer, modem, and router, I’d like to narrow down exactly where the connection is failing before suggesting further steps.

Could you please confirm the following?

  1. What happens when you try to print?
Do you receive a specific error message, such as “Printer Offline,” “Printer Not Found,” “Unable to Communicate with Printer,” or something else? Please provide the exact wording.
  2. How is the printer connected?
    • Wi-Fi
    • USB
    • Have you tried both?
  3. What devices are unable to connect to the printer?
Is the problem occurring on a Windows computer, Mac, phone, tablet, or all of them?
  4. What is the Wi-Fi light doing on the ENVY 5052?
Is it solid blue, flashing blue, or completely off
  5. Can you still see your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) listed on the printer, and does the printer indicate that it is connected to the network?
  6. If you open the HP printer software on the computer, does it find the ENVY 5052, or does it say that the printer cannot be found?
  7. Were there any recent changes before the problem started, for example, a router/network change, Windows/macOS update, new security software, or change to the Wi-Fi password

If possible, please also share a photo or screenshot of the exact error message/status you see when you try to print. That can help me determine whether we're dealing with a printer Wi-Fi connection problem or communication between the printer and the device.

Once you provide these details, we can focus on the correct connection path rather than repeating the modem/router restart steps you've already tried. HP's guidance also recommends checking whether the printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network when a printer becomes unavailable.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
