Hi @Riley002
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If your HP Envy and OfficeJet printers are going offline frequently, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Step 1: Check Printer Connection
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Check Cables and Connection: Ensure that all network and power cables are securely connected.
- Wireless Connection: If using Wi-Fi, make sure your printer is connected to the correct network. Check the printer's network settings from its control panel.
Step 2: Set Printer Online
- Open Settings on your Windows 11 PC.
- Navigate to Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your printer and click Open queue.
- In the printer queue window, select Printer from the top menu and make sure Use Printer Offline is unchecked.
Step 3: Check Printer Status on Embedded Web Server (EWS)
- Print a Configuration Page: Print a configuration page from your printer to find its IP address.
- Access EWS: Open a web browser and type the printer's IP address into the URL bar. Press Enter to access the EWS.
- Review network settings and ensure there are no error messages.
Step 4: Update Printer Drivers
- Go to HP Support and download the latest drivers for your specific printer model.
- Install the drivers on your computer and restart your PC.
Step 5: Restart Print Spooler Service
- Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler, right-click, and select Restart.
Step 6: Disable SNMP Status in Windows
- Go to Devices > Printers & scanners in Settings.
- Select your printer and click Manage.
- Choose Printer properties.
- Under the Ports tab, select the port used by your printer and click Configure Port.
- Uncheck the option labeled SNMP Status Enabled.
Step 7: Power Cycle Network Equipment
- Restart your router or network switch by turning off the power, waiting 10 seconds, and then turning it back on.
These steps should help resolve the issue of your printers going offline regularly.
