printer no longer responds

HP ENVY 6030

Hello,
my printer freezes after a while if i don't use it. It displays a blue light and all buttons are inactive. The only solution is to unplug it and plug it back in, however I spend my time doing this, it is not a solution. Could not find a phone number to contact HP, also could not resolve the issue from the diagnostic and repair tool. This displays the problems well, but does not solve them in any way. Can you help me please ?
Thank you

Hi @Amandine22700,

I'd like to help!

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
