Hi @70240,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that the Printer is not connecting even after several attempts. I would request you to please follow the below steps which should fix the issue.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer, router, and computer. Wait for about a minute, then turn them back on. This can help reset the network connection.

Verify Network Configuration:

  • Ensure your printer is properly connected to the network. You may need to check your network settings.
  • Print a configuration page to verify the printer's network settings match those of your wireless network.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Make sure your printer has the latest firmware update. Check for updates using the HP support website or the HP Smart App.

IP Address Assignment:

  • Ensure the printer has a valid IP address assigned. You can find this in the network settings on the printer control panel. If the IP address starts with 169.254, it indicates that the printer is not properly connected to the network.

Network Settings Reset:

  • Restore the network settings to their factory values if you've accidentally misconfigured them. This can usually be done via the printer's control panel.

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure your wireless network is operational and that other devices can connect to it without issues.
  • Move the printer closer to the router to ensure a stronger signal.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
