i just got the hb deskjet 2900 series, i set it up on the computer and it worked on the testing but when i went to print my document it was saying its not connected. i have downloaded everything i had to , i also turned off and started everything and still nothing

I can see how frustrating this is, especially after setting everything up and seeing it work once, only for it to suddenly show as not connected. That kind of stop-start behavior can be really confusing, but we can sort it out.

 

Ensure your phone is not using cellular data or a 5GHz network if the printer is on 2.4GHz.

 

Turn off the printer, computer, phone, and router, then turn them back on to clear error states.

 

If the wireless light is flashing, the printer is not connected to the network.

 

Open the HP app on your phone, select "Add Printer" or "Set Up a New Printer" to re-configure the wireless connection.
