Hi @MiraK1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how frustrating it feels when your printer shows “Offline” and refuses to print, especially when you need something urgently. Let’s fix this step by step:

Quick Fix Steps

  1. Check Connections
    • Make sure your printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
    • If using a USB, ensure the cable is firmly plugged in.

  2. Restart Devices
    • Power off your printer, router, and computer for 60 seconds, then restart them.

  3. Set Printer Online
    • On Windows:
      • Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
      • Right-click your printer → See what’s printingPrinter menu → Uncheck Use Printer Offline.
    • On macOS:
      • Open System Settings → Printers & Scanners.
      • Remove and re-add the printer.

  4. Update HP App
    • Open the HP App and click Refresh or Reconnect.
    • If the printer still shows offline, remove it and add it again.

  5. Run HP App (Windows)
