Hi @Josok,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is when your HP printer shows offline, and the wireless option disappears from settings. This usually happens after a network reset or firmware glitch. Let’s go through the steps to fix this:

Why Wireless May Not Show

  • The printer lost its network configuration after a reset.
  • Wireless radio is disabled in printer settings.
  • Firmware corruption or outdated software.
  • Printer stuck in USB-only mode after driver reinstall.

Recommended Fix Steps

1. Power Cycle Everything

  • Turn off the printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Turn on the router → wait for full connectivity.
  • Turn on the printer → wait until ready.

2. Restore Wireless Settings on Printer

For printers without a touchscreen:

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds.
  • This resets wireless settings and enables Wi-Fi radio.

(For touchscreen models: Settings → Network Setup → Restore Network Defaults.)

3. Reconnect Using HP App

4. Update Printer Firmware

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
