printer only works from mobile device. When first set up it worked for mobile devices and laptop. No
updates or changes made I have restarted laptop, printer and wifi

Since mobile printing is working, the printer itself and the network connection look fine. This usually points to a setup or communication issue between the laptop and printer software.
To help you further, could you please confirm:
- What exact error message do you see on the laptop when you try to print?
- Does the print job get stuck in the queue, or does it disappear immediately without printing?
Also, please try using the HP App (not HP Smart) on your laptop:
- Open the HP App on your computer.
- Remove the printer from the app.
- Close the app completely.
- Reopen the HP App and add the printer again.
- Try printing a test page from the app itself.
This will help us confirm whether the issue is with the Windows print driver or the HP Smart integration.
Once you share the error message and results after trying the HP App, we can guide you with the next precise steps to get printing working again from your laptop.
