@JapanRodan, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP ENVY Photo 7855 Connection Issues to Web Server!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer is unable to connect to the web server, especially after setting up a new Wi-Fi system, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Verify Wi-Fi Connection
- Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- Check if the Wi-Fi light on the printer is steady, indicating a solid connection. If not, access the printer's wireless settings and reconnect to the Wi-Fi.
2. Restart Devices
- Restart the printer, computer, and your Wi-Fi router. This can resolve any temporary network glitches.
- Power off the devices, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn them back on.
3. Update Printer Firmware
- Make sure that your printer's firmware is up-to-date. You can check for updates directly from the printer's control panel by navigating to “Settings” > “Tools” > “Update the Printer”.
4. Check Web Services Configuration
- On the printer's control panel, go to "Setup" > "Web Services Setup" > "Network Setup".
- Ensure that Web Services are enabled. If they're not, try turning them on.
5. Reconfigure Network Settings
- Access the Network Setup on the printer’s control panel and ensure the settings match your current network setup.
- You may need to manually enter the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway details if they were changed with the new network setup.
6. Print a Network Configuration Page
- Go to the printer’s settings and print a network configuration page to verify connection details.
- Check the network status to ensure the printer is connected to the same network as other devices.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
