Hi @dave46511

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That’s a frustrating loop to be stuck in—especially when everything looks connected but the printer still insists it’s offline.

Let’s break the cycle and get your HP DeskJet 3755 back in action with a few targeted steps.

1. Disable “Use Printer Offline” Mode

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP DeskJet 3755 > click Open print queue.
  • In the new window, click Printer in the top menu.
  • Make sure “Use Printer Offline” is unchecked.

2. Restart the Print Spooler Service

This service manages print jobs and can get stuck.

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
  • Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click it, and choose Restart.

3.  Use HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

  • In the HP Smart app, click Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Let it run a scan—it will automatically fix common connection issues.
You can also access this tool on HP’s support page if needed.

4. Assign a Static IP to Your Printer

Dynamic IPs can change and confuse your PC.

  • Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer.
  • Note the IP address and set it as static via your router settings.
  • Re-add the printer using this IP:
    • Go to Settings > Printers & Scanners > Add device > Add manually.
    • Choose “Add a printer using TCP/IP address” and enter the static IP.

5. Reinstall the Printer Driver

  • Visit the HP DeskJet 3755 driver page.
  • Download and install the latest driver for Windows 11.
  • Remove the printer from Printers & Scanners, then re-add it after installing the driver.

Note:

  • Make sure your PC and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Avoid using 5GHz Wi-Fi—this printer prefers 2.4GHz.
  • If the printer’s blue Wi-Fi light is blinking, reconnect it using HP Smart or WPS.

Let me know which step gets things moving—or if it’s still being stubborn, I’ll help you dig deeper.
