Hi @baliko,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 5530 e-All-In-One Printer is unable to connect to the server, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. This problem often occurs due to network issues, outdated firmware, or incorrect settings. Here's a detailed guide to help you troubleshoot and fix the connection issue:

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide:

1. Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the network settings to verify the connection status.
  • If the printer is not connected to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
    • On the printer's touchscreen, go to "Setup" > "Network" > "Wireless Setup Wizard."
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

2. Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, router, and computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Turn off your printer and unplug it for about a minute before plugging it back in and turning it on again.
  • Restart your router by unplugging it for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
  • Restart your computer.

3. Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up-to-date. Updating the firmware can fix bugs and connectivity issues.
  • Visit the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
  • Enter your printer model (HP ENVY 5530) and select your operating system (Windows 10 32-bit).
  • Download and install any available firmware updates.

4. Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer.
  • Go to the HP ENVY 5530 Drivers Page.
  • Download and install the latest drivers for Windows 10 (32-bit).

5. HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility. This tool can diagnose and fix many common printing and scanning problems.

6. Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that Web Services are enabled on your printer. Web Services are necessary for functions like ePrint.
  • On the printer's touchscreen, go to "Setup" > "Web Services Setup" > "Enable Web Services."

7. Firewall and Antivirus Settings:

  • Check your firewall and antivirus settings to ensure they are not blocking the printer from accessing the network.
  • Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software to see if they are causing the issue. If the printer connects after disabling, adjust the settings to allow the printer through.

8. Reset Network Settings:

  • Reset the network settings on your printer to default and then reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
  • On the printer's touchscreen, go to "Setup" > "Network" > "Restore Network Settings."

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
