Hi @glsans,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP printer is unable to connect to the internet. Here are several steps you can take to diagnose and resolve the issue:

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the same wireless network as your computer.
  • Make sure the wireless connection is active and that your wireless router is working properly.

Restart Devices:

  • Power off your printer and wireless router.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds before turning them back on.

Check Printer Network Settings:

  • Print a Network Configuration Page from your printer’s menu to check its network settings.
  • Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct network.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up-to-date. Updated firmware can fix bugs and improve connectivity.

Disable Firewalls Temporarily:

  • Temporarily disable firewalls on your computer to see if they are blocking the printer from connecting.

Reset Network Settings:

  • For some printers, you may have the option to reset the network settings back to default and reconnect to the network again.

Manual IP Configuration:

  • Configure the printer with a static IP address to avoid network conflicts.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
