Hi  @balloo2018,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I hear your concern about how  it can be when your printer won’t connect to Wi-Fi, but we’ll work through this together.
Could you please share the exact printer model number ?

In the meantime, here are few  steps that resolve Wi-Fi connection issues:

1.Restart Devices

Refreshing connections often clears temporary glitches.

Power off your printer, router, and computer.

Wait about 30 seconds.

Turn them back on in this order: router → printer → computer.

2.Check Wi-Fi Network

Printers can only connect to 2.4 GHz networks in most cases.

Ensure your router’s 2.4 GHz band is enabled.

Verify your computer/phone is on the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to join.

3.Use Printer Control Panel

Manually reconnecting often helps.

On printer: Wireless → Settings → Wireless Setup Wizard

Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.

Enter the correct Wi-Fi password carefully.

Wait for confirmation that the printer is connected.

4.Check HP Smart App

The app can guide setup and detect issues.

Install/update the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.

Use the app’s guided setup to reconnect the printer.

Run the app’s diagnostic if connection fails.

5.Reset Network Settings

If all else fails, reset the printer’s network settings.

On printer: Wireless → Settings → Restore Network Defaults

After reset, rerun the Wireless Setup Wizard.

Re-enter your Wi-Fi credentials.

Confirm connection before printing.

I hope this helps.
