My Smart Tank Printer all of a sudden won't connect to laptop or print, app on laptop isn't working at all what should I do?

If your HP Smart Tank Wireless 455 printer is not connecting to your laptop or not printing, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here are some suggestions.

 

Check Connection:

  • Ensure that both the printer and the laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Make sure that there are no connectivity issues with your Wi-Fi network.

Restart Devices:

  • Power off both your printer and laptop.
  • Wait for a few minutes, and then power them back on.
  • Try to reconnect and print again.

Update Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your laptop. You can visit the official HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.

HP Smart App:

  • Ensure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your laptop.
  • If the app is not working, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Printer Troubleshooter:

  • Use the built-in printer troubleshooter on your laptop to diagnose and fix common printing problems.
