printer won't print from computer, says we're not connected

HP Envy 7640

HP Envy7640 says cannot print. Connect printer to update Instant ink status. Printer plugged in  and to the computer.  I have done all suggestions for days , still no resolution.

I understand you are not able to print. Let us try these steps:


Restart the router, the printer, and the PC

Make sure the printer is connected to the internet


Follow the steps mentioned in this document - 'Connect Printer to Update Status' Message Displays
