Hello,
Make sure that the Wireless light is steady on the front panel of your printer.
In the first instance, please restore network settings to default settings
- Press and hold the Wireless button (
) and the Cancel button (
) from the printer control panel together for three seconds.
Updating the printer's firmware may solve the problem encountered with the wireless network connection: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/dj4100e/DJ4100e_2147B_2147C_2147D.exe.
Please use the HP DeskJet 4100 Series Full Software and Drivers to install your printer.
To reconnect the printer, it may be necessary to connect it with the USB cable temporarily.
Then, please follow the instructions in the HP document: Changing from a USB to a Wireless Connection.
Don't hesitate to contact us in case of need.
Best regards,
