Thank you for contacting the HP Support Community. We appreciate you connecting with us and are here to help.

When you encounter the "This printer isn't available right now" error on your Android device with the HP Envy Inspire 7955e, here are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Check Printer Status:

    • Ensure that the printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
  2. Reconnect to Network:

    • Restart your printer and reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure the printer's Wi-Fi status light is on and steady.
  3. Update Printer Software:

    • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up-to-date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel.
  4. Use the HP Smart App:

    • Install and use the HP app on your Android device to manage your printer settings and print jobs.
  5. Clear and Reinstall:

    • Clear the cache and data of the HP Smart app on your Android device. Then, uninstall and reinstall the app to ensure the latest version is being used.
  6. Select the Correct Printer:

    • In the HP Smart app or Print settings on your Android device, make sure you have selected the correct printer model if multiple printers are listed.
  7. Check Network Setup:

    • Verify that there are no network issues. Restart your Wi-Fi router if necessary.
  8. Disable VPNs:

    • If you are using a VPN on your Android device, try disabling it, as it can sometimes interfere with network connectivity for devices on your local network.
  9. Test Network Connection:

    • Use the "Network Configuration" page on the printer control panel or print a "Network Test Report" to ensure your printer is properly connected to the network.

Please share an update after trying these steps so we can assist you further, if required.
