I got HP Color LaserJet Pro M283fdw
I'm trying to configure the scan and email option, I entered all the information I know in terms of SMTP,
Outgoing server: out.walla.co.il
The SSL field is enabled
Port Number - 587
And failing, I began to despair.
its says: Error...
They gave me some explanation sheet, that maybe a technical man would understand and not a simple person like me. Desperate.
Why are all installations not simple as technology advances ??

Hi Bella,
An SMTP connection is a bit more advanced feature.
Personally, I can see the exact same results too with Walla.co.il from my testing, while could connect with no issues in the past, prior to changing to port 587 and SSL it was previously unsecured using port 25, I would assume this is due to an unsupported protocol for their servers.
From testing other accounts such as Yahoo, Email, Hotmail, all connect with no issue, so it seems related with the email provider options.
I do suggest trying another mail provider if possible, such as a Gmail account.
You may always use your Walla address as the To value, but using another profile for sending, such as Gmail, so any scan will still be sent to your required address, just by using another address to send it.
