Hi @omerrr,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how frustrating it is when your HP DeskJet 2823e All-in-One Printer won’t print the Wi-Fi code and shows Error 03, especially when you're trying to set it up. You're doing the right thing by seeking help, and I’ll guide you through the fix.

Steps to Fix Error 03 and print the Wi-Fi Code

1. Perform a Full Power Reset

This clears temporary memory and resets sensors.

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it from power for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

2. Check for Paper or Carriage Jam

Even if it looks clear, inspect the following:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Gently move the carriage left and right.
  • Check for any stuck paper, debris, or packing material.
  • Close the door securely.

3. Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode

If the printer is stuck and won’t print the Wi-Fi code:

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds until the Wireless light starts blinking.
  • This puts the printer into Wi-Fi setup mode for 2 hours.

4. Use HP Smart App to Complete Setup

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
