Hi @Niko89,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

If you have forgotten the admin password for your HP Deskjet 3630 printer, you can try performing a factory reset to reset the printer's settings, including the admin password. Please follow these steps to reset the admin password.

Note: Performing a factory reset will erase all customized settings on the printer and revert it to its default settings.

  • Turn on your HP Deskjet 3630 printer.
  • Locate the "Reset" button on the back or bottom of the printer. It is usually a small hole marked "Reset."
  • Use a paperclip or a pointed object to press and hold the "Reset" button for about 5-10 seconds. You should see the lights on the printer blink during this process.
  • Release the "Reset" button after the blinking stops.
  • The printer will now restart, and the admin password should be reset to the default factory settings.

After the factory reset, the admin password should be set back to its default. The default password for HP printers is usually either blank (no password) or "admin" (without the quotes). Try accessing the printer's settings using these default passwords.

If you are using a Wifi- direct, try the password 12345678

You may also try the following below;

Restore the network settings to default settings to reset the EWS page password:

Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button  from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

Once it is done set a new password for EWS page, follow the below steps:

Open a web browser and type the printer IP address in the address field exactly as it appears on the Configuration Page, and then press Enter.

Click the Security tab, and under General Security, set the local administrator password.

Keep the username default as admin.

Type the New Password and Verify Password.

Navigate to the bottom of the page and click Apply.

Use these credentials the next time you Log In to the EWS.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
