office Jet 6968 all in one

I am trying to scan to email documents that I normally have no issue receiving.

today, after several email threads on this topic, searching the HP Site, connecting  to my HP account online and on my mobile app, I am still not able to use the app to scan to email.

I am currently using the printer as a wifi printer.

I have checked the wifi settings, updated the passwords, verified all settings are correct on both the printer and on the HP site.

I found the IP address and verified all my settings.

I am a HP instant ink customer.

This issue is recent and have been able to scan to email many times while using instant ink.

I have unplugged, shut off, powered directly to an outlet and not surge protector, just about everything everyone else was having trouble with.

I am unable to see the printer setup screen where I can verify and add email addresses for scanning options.

I have a work email address setup as the primary and my personal as the secondary for scanning options.

I continue to get the web services is currently unavailable and try later message.

when I click on display email address, it spins and will not show my email addresses.

I am at my wits end as I need to scan a multi page document and cannot figure out how to solve this.

Please help!

Welcome to HP Support Community!

Let's remove and add web services:

To remove Web Services using the printer control panel 1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Web Services Settings). 2. Touch Remove Web Services

To set up Web Services using the printer control panel 1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Web Services Setup . 3. Touch Accept to accept the Web Services terms of use and enable Web Services. 4. On the screen that appears, touch OK to allow the printer to automatically check for product updates.

NOTE: If prompted for proxy settings and if your network uses proxy settings, follow the onscreen instructions to set up a proxy server. If you do not have the proxy details, contact your network administrator or the person who set up the network.

5. If the Printer Update Options screen is displayed, select Install Automatically (Recommended) or Alert When Available. 6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
