i have a deskjet 2634. Firstly is doesn't recognise the black ink cartridge. Secondly it will not connect to the network. Thirdly where do i find the custom password?

i don't get any error messages. We were given the printer because they couldn't get it to work. i need to find the custom password because the printer is set up with Germany as preference with English language. Will this stop it connecting to my network ?

Sorry i don't get an error message. This printer doesn't recognize the black starter ink. Also it is asking for an custom password when i tried and connect to our wifi network. The other thing it has a region preference of Germany when i tired to change it to the uk it is asking for the custom password again. So my question is how do i find the custom password for this Deskjet 2634 or is there a way to factory reset the printer so i can start again?

Restore network settings to default settings
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.
Update the printer firmware
Here are the steps:- Click here
Follow the steps mentioned in page number 62 in this user guide to connect the printer again to the router:- Click here

i tried this. It still doesn't connect to the network. So can't update firmware. For some reason the country preference is set up as Germany, which i think is why the ink cartridge is not being recognized and why it will not connect to my network. When i tried to change it to the uk, it asks for a customer password. So how do i find the password ?
