I hope someone will respond to this. My last question went unanswered.

I normally have no problems with my printer. But the past few days it has stopped printing emails or attachments to emails. I managed to save photos and then print them but I have a receipt in an email and the printer just freezes, I can not choose options no nothing. It freezes and takes forever getting out of it.

What has happened?

I have an older  printer, an HP deskjet 3050a. I use it wi fi.

It always worked so well. But this is very stressful, I have no idea why this is happening.

I also have some real concern with the HP Print and Scan doctor -- why in the world would it list every single wirless thing like you see broadcast on the wi fi. Not just your computer but everyone. And then at the bottom f that, is my wi fi password. I hope this is only visible in my notebook, because these days you don't know who is gaining access to what. My wi fi is secured, you need a password, and that is a password in my printer as well. But I don't know how secure this printer is these days it is worrying.

thanks for help figuring out why my wi fi printer won't print from my email. I checked the trouible shooter and it said all is workign well. Clearly it is not.

@mrg553, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand your concern. However, web services are no longer supported on this model printer. For more info, refer to this document - Web Services Stop Working

And, hence, you are not able to use the ePrint feature to its fullest.

HP Print and Scan Doctor is a diagnostic tool. Yes, it does search and find all the devices connected to a wireless network. However, the wireless password is not disclosed on a device that is not on your wireless network. So, you need not worry.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
