Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I recently reset my printer to try and solve a printing error. This did work but now I am unable to use the wi-fi. When attempting to sort this I am met with “this function has been disabled, contact the person who set up the printer”. That person was me of course and I  have tried various suggested methods to solve. I even updated the firmware. I have read similar issues from others with this problem and replies are all PMs so I’m hoping someone will be able to assist me this way. Printer is HP OFFICEJET 7720 wide format all-in-one. Thanks

I solved this myself, eventually. I had to find the administrator tab in the advanced settings on the hp smart app and this showed that all the functions for web services must’ve been disabled when I reset printer. I enabled all the web services and this has meant I have network printing again. It took me a while to get to this solution as it was not one suggested in the many troubleshooting guides I used.
