If the wireless driver is missing on your HP 15.6-inch laptop PC 15-d5000, you can resolve this issue by downloading and installing the appropriate drivers from the HP Customer Support page.

 

Steps to Download and Install Wireless Drivers:

Visit HP Customer Support: Go to the HP Customer Support—Software and Driver Downloads page.

Identify Your Product: Enter "HP 15.6-inch Laptop PC 15-d5000" in the search box and select your specific model from the list.

Select the Operating System: Choose the operating system you are using to ensure compatibility.

Locate the Wireless Network Driver: Navigate to the "Driver-Network" section and download the relevant wireless driver.

 

Wireless Card Options for HP 15.6-inch Laptop PC 15-d5000:

The following are the wireless card options for the HP 15.6-inch laptop PC 15-d5000. Ensure to download the driver that matches the hardware in your laptop:

  • Mediatek MT7921 Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2x2) multi-user MIMO supported and Bluetooth® 5.2
  • Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac (2x2) multi-user MIMO supported and Bluetooth® 5
  • Realtek RTL8821CE-M 802.11ac (1x1) multi-user MIMO supported and Bluetooth® 4.2

Installing the Wireless Driver:

  1. Once downloaded, locate the installation file in the 'Downloads' folder of your PC.
  2. Double-click on the file to start the installation.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  4. Restart your laptop to apply the changes.

Check Device Manager:

  • Right-click the Start button and select "Device Manager.".
  • Expand the "Network Adapters" section and see if the wireless driver is listed.
  • If the driver is listed but not working, right-click on it and select "Update driver.".

Windows Update:

  • Sometimes, Windows Update can automatically find and install the necessary drivers.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click "Check for updates.".
